UKCA Marking is compulsory and must be affixed before a product is placed (for sale or own use) on the market within the UK. It replaced the CE Mark in UK legislation as the United Kingdom left the European Union. How and where can I affix the UKCA Mark?
In general UKCA marking must appear on the product but there can be exceptions. It may also appear on the packaging, in manuals or other supporting literature.

What happens if my product does not need to be UKCA Marked?
When a product does not fall within a UKCA Marking Regulation, then it will almost certainly fall within the scope of one of the other product Regulation, such as the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). The GPSR ensures that all products intended for or likely to be used by consumers under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions are safe.
